What is your involvement in BGA? When I was active, I helped with the Michael Eric Dyson program in 2007.
How has the BGA been instrumental in your graduate career? BGA is a good way to meet other graduate students outside of my field.

How has BGA grown since last year? If you are a first year student, what do you think that you can contribute the BGA? The BGA is always the first organization where graduate students can meet other graduate students and be involved on campus. I believe each year the BGA gains more members because the BGA attracts the most students.
What is your lifelong dream? Be successful and to share my success with my family.
Who were the most influential people in your life? My great aunts Mamie George and Lottie Sanders and my mother Linnie Gibson.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Finally teaching and earning a faboulous salary.

Why did you decide to come to Purdue and what do you like most about the University thus far? Honestly: funding. I like that Purdue provides many resources for its students whether its funding, classes, or support from professors. Purdue really supports its students.
