To get a yearlong internship in education in the nation’s capital

My parents, Henry and Josephine Gillis, because they supported me, created and maintained a family and they were educators as well.

Student, teacher, reader

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Teaching college and creating educational material

What is one thing in life you must have?

Literature

Why did you decide to come to Purdue and what do you like most about the University thus far?

I came because of the proximity to my home, I admire Purdue Calumet for continuously improving and evolving from its campus life (dorms) to its community outreach (Underground RR tour) to its commitment to academic excellence
