How has the BGA been instrumental in your graduate career?
BGA has done an excellent job of being a voice for me as well as providing a source for me to meet likeminded individuals.

How has BGA grown since last year?
During this past year BGA has reached bound its borders to work with other student organizations concerning various student issues. This has increased the visibility of the BGA and built long lasting relationships with other student groups.
What is your lifelong dream?
My goal is to become the first female Dean of the School of Agriculture of my Alma Mata, Tennessee State University.
Who were the most influential people in your life?
My parents, older sister, uncles, aunts and cousins; they are all a part of my personal “cheering team”.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Loquacious, Curious and Entertaining
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I would like to be working for the United States Department of Agriculture as a food safety researcher and raising a beautiful family while reaching my lifelong goals.
What is one thing in life you must have? My faith in a higher power and music.
Why did you decide to come to Purdue and what do you like most about the University thus far?
Purdue University’s college of agriculture is world renowned this was great opportunity for me to study in such a program and therefore this lead me to apply to the institution. I have enjoyed being a student here thus far and hope that I can encourage others to apply to Purdue.
